Jari Wilson is an Associate Attorney at Romano Law, specializing in entertainment law, intellectual property law, corporate law, employment law, and litigation. She earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Michigan State University College of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude.
During her law school tenure, Jari served as a Senior Notes Editor for the Michigan State Law Review, with her student Note on copyrights and NFTs being selected for publication. She was involved in the Intellectual Property Law Student Association and the Sports & Entertainment Law Association. Additionally, Jari served as a student teaching assistant for Intellectual Property legal writing and contract drafting classes and was a student clinician at the First Amendment Law Clinic, educating high school journalists about their First Amendment rights.
Before pursuing her law degree, Jari earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Spanish from Saginaw Valley State University and a Master of Science in Public Relations from the renowned S.I. Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University.
Jari’s extensive professional experience spans the entertainment and sports industries. Prior to law school, she worked as a music publicist in Los Angeles and Nashville, collaborating with artists and media. She also gained valuable insights as a legal intern for NFL Films, where she supported various legal projects, including contract reviews and attending production meetings.
In her free time, Jari enjoys traveling, walking her dog, attending concerts, reading, and chatting about all things Taylor Swift. With her diverse background and passion for law, Jari is dedicated to providing exceptional legal services.
