Greg is a trial lawyer and counselor of founders, partners, officers, directors, and businesses, specializing in partnership and corporate control disputes, and complex business disputes. This includes employment litigation, trade secret theft, and class actions. He also handles trust and estate litigation, and professional malpractice and fee disputes. Prior to joining Romano Law in 2024, for more than 20 years Greg and his partner Jeff Shopoff represented plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal court in California, as well as private arbitrations and mediations, focusing on value-added work designed to increase leverage and positioning for trial, such as creative and strategic use of discovery and complex court procedures such as injunctions, TROs, receiverships, cost-shifting settlement offers, and writs. Greg has successfully tried cases to juries and judges and arbitrators, in person and remotely.
Greg earned an AB in Economics from Dartmouth College in 1991, and a JD from the University of California at Berkeley- School of Law in 1994.
